SAFF holds a coordination meeting with the participating clubs in Asian competitions

The Saudi Arabia Football Federation held a coordination meeting, Wednesday, in its headquarters in Riyadh, with the representatives of participating clubs in AFC Champions League this season.

The meeting was attended by Secretary-General Ibrahim Al Kassim, Chairman of the Competitions Committee Naim Al-Bakr, Director of the National Team Hussein Al-Sadiq, and the representatives of Al-Hilal, Al-Nasr, Al-Ahly and Al-Taawoun Clubs.

There was a coordination before the emergency meeting that AFC will hold next Sunday in Dubai, with representatives of West Asian Federations, In order to set new dates for AFC Champions League matches, due to some restrictions and requirements that have arisen recently due to the spread of Coronavirus.

Secretary-General Ibrahim Al Kassim affirmed that SAFF is keen to establish this meeting to listen to the views of clubs and convey them to the emergency meeting of AFC.

Al Kassim confirmed that Saudi Arabia Football Federation supports clubs' demands in the meeting, which will discuss a number of issues related to the scheduling of matches.
