Referees Committee concludes its referees' training session in preparation for the resumption of the sports season

Today, the referees' committee of the Saudi Football Association concluded its training course for referees in preparation for the resumption of the sports season 2019-2020, under the supervision of the referee committee president, Spanish Fernando Tricarico and the director of the arbitration department, Swiss Manuel Navarro and with the participation of 56 referees and assistant referees.
The course, which was held in Riyadh, lasted for 9 days, which included theoretical lectures, fitness exercises and practical and theoretical training, with a simulation program for assistive video referee technology "VAR", and several tests were conducted in the law of football and video cases and infiltration and discussed while the amendments and clarifications that were made to the Football Law.
The Chairman of the Referees Committee presented at the end of the session his thanks and appreciation to the referees for the discipline and good listening during the session, and Dr. Jamal Al-Bishri gave a lecture on the mechanism of work and precautionary measures to prevent the new Coronavirus "Covid-19", and also emphasized the comprehensive follow-up of the referees during the competition period.
