The Development and Initiatives Department holds a workshop in Jeddah

The Development and Initiatives Department of the Saudi Football Association held a workshop from 22-24 December in Jeddah, in the presence of the General Supervisor of the Development and Initiatives Department, a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Federation Bandar Al-Ahmadi, Director of the Development and Initiatives Department, Abdullah Al-Mansour, and the Federation's technical director, Iwan Lubisco, in addition to To the supervisors of the Regional Training Centers Initiative and the Saudi Football and Technical Performance Development Initiatives for Sunni groups.

Bandar Al-Ahmadi affirmed that the workshop sought primarily to develop follow-up mechanisms, review some portfolios for technical curricula, follow-up of medical protocol procedures amid medical precautions in combating the Corona pandemic, in addition to developing a procedural guide to work with within regional training centers.

Al-Ahmadi explained that the aim of the continuation of the training centers is to push for the sustainability of this vital and important project, which is one of the most important initiatives that are pursued by the chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Football Association, stressing that the regional training centers provide an important role to enhance the sovereignty of Saudi football, especially as it is an educational and sports environment. Amna aims to discover the talents, train them, refine them and provide them with the necessary expertise to build a distinguished generation of football and technicians.

During the workshop, the initiative to develop Saudi football and the initiative to develop the technical performance of Sunni groups and the most important results reached by these two initiatives were reviewed, and comparisons were drawn up to reach results based on the analytical aspect to reach the most important goals of promoting and developing Saudi football.

At the end of the training workshop, Abdullah Al-Mansour reviewed the most important aspects that the Development and Initiatives Department seeks to achieve, noting the importance of integrating work mechanisms on one hand and its role in achieving all what the Football Association seeks to achieve with continuous and sustainable work.
