Real Madrid wins the Spanish Super Cup in Riyadh

The President of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser Al Misehal, crowned Real Madrid team with the Spanish Super Cup presented by NEOM, in the presence of his RFEF President Luis Rubiales, CEO of the NEOM project, Nazmi Al-Nasr, and the Ambassador of Spain to Saudi Arabia Albaroa Iranzo.

The president of the SAFF stressed that the wise leadership's unlimited interest and support for the sports sector in general and football in particular, made Saudi Arabia a global destination to host major Asian and international sporting events.

On behalf of the SAFF, Al Misehal congratulated His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports, who granted the generous support in achieving a great leap that placed the Kingdom in the ranks of countries with the ability to organize sports events, especially in the football sector, which witnessed a leap at the level of the results of the national teams in various categories in recent years.

The President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation attended the Spanish Super Cup final between Real Madrid and Athletic Club, which was hosted by King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, on Sunday evening, and presented souvenirs between the two halves of the match with his Spanish counterpart, Real Madrid President Florentino Perez and Athletic Club President Aitor Yezyggy.

It is noteworthy that Real Madrid was crowned champion of the Spanish Super Cup after defeating Athletic Club with two goals, to win the twelfth Super Cup in its history.
