Al Misehal meets the presidents of MBS League clubs to discuss the appropriate number of foreign players

Today, Tuesday, the President of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser Al Misehal, held a meeting with the presidents of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Professional Cup League clubs in Riyadh, to discuss the appropriate number of foreign players for the upcoming seasons.

During the meeting, the views of the club presidents were presented regarding the most appropriate number of foreign players for the upcoming seasons, and the most prominent negatives and positives.

The meeting witnessed a review of the statistics of foreign players who participated mainly in the teams' squads during the past two seasons, and the positive impact on the results of the teams after the increase in the number in recent seasons.

The Technical Committee was also assigned to present a technical study in accordance with the views that were presented during today's meeting, in preparation for issuing the final decision during the coming period.

The meeting was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Sports for Youth and Sports Affairs Abdulaziz Al-Masad, President of the Saudi Professional League Abdulaziz Al-Afaleq, member of the Board of Directors of the SAFF, president of the Technical Committee Turki Al-Sultan, member of the Board of Directors and president of the Competitions Committee Naim Al-Bakr, Member of the Council, Maid Al-Shehri, president of the Professionalism and Player Conditions Committee Jaber Al-Juhani, and Executive Director of the Saudi Professional League Abdulaziz Al-Hamidi.
