The president of the Saudi Federation revealed the union’s intention to preserve and defend all the rights of referees and to assign lawyers to stand with them against any accusations and media campaigns.

He said: "We have a major project to develop, support and rehabilitate to the Saudi government, which is being worked on by the Spanish committee chairman, Fernando Trisaco, including the academy project that was announced at the third periodic council meeting."

The President of the Council indicated that there is a new mechanism and additional list of referees' rewards that they are working on now, and the distinguished referees who manage the matches will have a share of them.
