The Asian Football Confederation decided, on Thursday, to postpone the launch of the AFC Futsal Cup, which was scheduled to be held in Kuwait from 2 to 13 December.
The decision came after continuous discussions with Kuwait Football Association (the hosting federation) and all participating teams regarding postponing the tournament due to the circumstances of the Corona pandemic and travel restrictions imposed in some countries, as the AFC preferred to postpone it to a date to be determined next year.
It is noteworthy that the national futsal team is in Group D, along with Iran, Thailand and South Korea.
