Al-Faisal attends the NT U-23 training and stresses the importance of upcoming events

His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, visited this evening, Sunday, the camp of the under-23 national team, which is being held in Riyadh in preparation for the U-23 West Asian Football Federation Championship 202, and the qualifiers for the U-23 Asian Cup 2022 in Uzbekistan.
His Highness met the players before the start of the training session, in the presence of the President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser bin Hassan Al Misehal, as he stressed the importance of the next stage for the team, which includes participation in a number of regional and continental tournaments, such as the WAFF Championship and the Asian Cup qualifiers. In addition to participating in the Asian Games (Hangzhou 2022), asking them to make efforts and provide the best levels during the upcoming events.
For his part, the President of the SAFF, Yasser Al Misehal, expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Minister of Sports, President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, for the support, interest and follow-up that the national teams have, stressing that everyone is working to achieve more achievements for Saudi football.
On the field level, the under-23 national team resumed its training today on the reserve stadium of Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, after the friendly match yesterday, Saturday, against Oman national team, which ended with a 3-0 victory.
The national team players, under the supervision of coach Saad Al-Shehri and the assistant technical staff, performed recovery exercises, followed by an entertaining exercise.
Tomorrow, Monday evening, the national team will continue its training on the reserve stadium of Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, in preparation for a friendly match against Oman national team at the end of Riyadh camp.
