The national futsal team won the second place in the International friendly Futsal Week Championship, after losing in the final match 0-6 against Italy, ranked ninth in the world.

The national futsal team took the second place award, which is a trophy for second place and silver medals, in addition to Moaz Al-Asiri winning the award for the best player in the tournament.

On the other hand, the management of the national team, in coordination with the technical staff of the team led by Spanish coach Andrew Plaza, decided to set up a training camp in Croatian, Porec, until September 15, after the end of the tournament.

This comes with the aim of preparing the team to participate in the upcoming Gulf and Asian competitions, as the training camp will include a number of friendly matches, in addition to performing training sessions at different periods.
