Al-Fateh wins the social responsibility award for clubs 2020-2021

Al-Fateh won the first place of the social responsibility award for clubs for the sports season 2020-2021, during the ceremony held, today, Friday, in the green halls of the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Olympic Complex in Riyadh, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation Ibrahim Al Kassim and member of the board and president of the Social Responsibility Committee Nazih Al-Nasr, and the members Moaid Al-Shehri, Turki Al-Sultan and Lamia Bin Bahian.

Al Shabab won the second place award, while the third place award went to Al Hilal, and the fourth place award went to the Al-Adalah, while Ettifaq won the fifth place award.

During the ceremony, all 23 clubs participating in the Social Responsibility Award were honored, which are Al-Ittihad, Al-Taawoun, Al-Nassr, Al-Ahly, Al-Faisaly, Al-Raed, Damac, Al-Batin, Abha, Al-Qadisiyah, Al-Wahda, Al-Hazem, Al-Fayha, Hajer, Ohod, Al-Khaleej, Al-Shoulla and Al-Jeel.

The clubs participating in the national campaign to get into Guinness World Records also received its certificate after their participation in the success of the national campaign, marking a new national achievement in the name of the Saudi Arabia in an initiative established in cooperation with Aleradah Organisation for talented people with disability, which included sending the largest number of motivational messages in International Day of Disabled Persons by all society members.

For his part, the Secretary-General of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Ibrahim Al Kassim, confirmed that the award this year comes amid great interest from the clubs to participate effectively, praising the role played by Saudi clubs with regard to their responsibility towards society.

The head of the Social Responsibility Committee in the SAFF, Nazih Al-Nasr, said that the level of interaction and participation from the clubs in this version confirms that social responsibility has become a pillar of work in the clubs, praising the initiatives presented by the clubs, which reflected the qualitative advance of these initiatives in recent years.
