The national team concludes its preparations to face Japan in World Cup qualifiers in the presence of Al-Faisal

In the presence and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports, President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, and in the presence of Mr. Yasser Al-Misehal, President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, the national team concluded its training this evening, Wednesday, in preparation to face the Japanese national team, tomorrow evening, Thursday, at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, at the third round of the final Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.

His Highness met the national team players before the start of the training session, as he stressed the importance of the match, as its result will contribute to moving towards achieving the goal, and stressing the strength of the rival team, in his speech to the players, His Highness expressed his confidence and support for them, wishing them success in achieving the victory.

For his part, the President of the SAFF, Yasser Al-Misehal, expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Minister of Sports, President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, for the unlimited support and great interest in the national teams, which contributed to achieving positive results.

On the field, the national team held a training session this evening at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, under the supervision of coach "Herve Renard", as it began with a warm-up exercises, followed by a square exercise, and concluded with a tactical maneuver.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Zaid Al-Bawardi participated in group training, while Ali Al-Hassan continued his exercises with the medical staff.

It is worth noting that the national team is in Group B in the final Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, along with Japan, Australia, China, Oman and Vietnam.

It is worth noting that the national team managed to achieve the full mark in the first and second rounds, with six points, by defeating Vietnam and Oman.
