
The NT U-23 faces Iraq in the semi-finals of the WAFF Championship

The U-23 national team will play its match in the semi-finals of the U-23 West Asian Football Federation Championship 2021, which is held from 4 to 12 October, in Dammam and Al Khobar.
The U-23 national team will meet the Iraqi national team at 8 pm, at Prince Muhammad bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam.
In the field, the players of the national team resumed their training this evening, Saturday, at Al-Qadisiyah Club Stadium, under the supervision of coach Saad Al-Shehri and the assistant technical staff, during which they were divided into two groups, as the first group Which participated in yesterday's match against Bahrain practiced a recovery session, while the other group conducted a training in small squares, followed by an entertaining session, to conclude the training session with a training session on penalty kicks.
It is noteworthy that the under-23 national team qualified for the semi-finals after topping its third group by defeating Syria 2-0 and defeating Bahrain 3-0.
