The regional football training centers are witnessing an increase in their capacity for the number of players in the daily training for category A to 100 players and for category C to 50 players.

This step came after the Ministry of Sports announced raising the capacity of all sports facilities after the Ministry of Interior announced easing precautionary measures, based on the approval of the concerned authorities to follow up on the developments of the Corona virus.

The regional football training centers are one of the most important initiatives of the Development and Initiatives Department of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, which is now in its third season, recording the transfer of more than 180 talents to sports clubs in Saudi Arabia and the selection of 14 players for the youth football team.

The total number of players who went through the tests came to more than 2,000 players who are being trained and developed so that the regional football training centers are one of the most important channels of selection for the teams of the youth groups and sports clubs.

The regional football training centers are keen to prepare everything surrounding the player so that the performance of the operational plans is monitored and evaluated by the Development and Initiatives Department of the SAFF to achieve the goals and provide a safe environment that meets international health standards to provide the best services for players registered in the centers.

It is noteworthy that the number of centers is 23, including two centers in Riyadh, Medina, Mecca, Yanbu, Al-Ahsa and Jeddah, and one center in each of Buraydah, Hail, Sakaka, Jazan, Sabya, Taif, Dammam and Dhahran, in addition to a women center in Riyadh.
