
Al-Thubaiti participates in the AFC Executive Committee meeting in Manama

Today, Sunday, the Vice President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Khalid Al-Thubaiti, participated in the meeting of the Executive Office of the Asian Football Confederation, which was held in the Bahraini capital, Manama, in the presence of AFC President Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa.
The meeting witnessed a review of future plans and programs in the Asian Football Confederation, which would contribute to the development of football in the continent, according to the vision of the Confederation to improve and develop club competitions.
During the meeting, Al Khalifa expressed the AFC’s gratitude to the national federations that hosted tournaments, including the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, after the Saudi Arabia hosted 3 groups in the AFC Champions League, as well as the final rounds of the tournament for the Western region, as well as hosting the final match.
He also thanked the teams, clubs, referees, commercial and media partners, as well as football fans and all parties of the game, who have played a major role in the safe resumption of Asian football competitions.
