
Saudi Olympics team opens Dubai Tournament with a defeat to South Korea

Saudi U-23 national team, lost 2-0 to South Korea, on Wednesday, in their opening match, in Dubai International Tournament, which lasts until December 19th, at Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai Stadium.
Coach Saad Al-Shehri started the game with the following XI: Mohamed Al-Rabie (goalkeeper), Omar Al-Ouda, Abdel Basit Hendy, Oun Al-Saloli, Abdalla Al-Yossif, Ali Al-Asmari, Mohamed Al-Megihed, Fawaz Al-Trees, Turky Al-Ammar, Khaled Al-Ganam and Ramzy Soulan.
The Saudi team will return to training, on Thursday, to start preparations for the hosts, United Arab Emirates match, on Friday, in the second game of the tournament.
The participation of the Saudi U-23 national team in Dubai International Olympic Friendly Tournament, comes within the third phase of preparation programme for 2020 AFC U-23 Championship, which will take place in Thailand, to determine the qualified team to 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
It must be noted that the draw of 2020 AFC U-23 Championship, put KSA in group B, alongside Japan, Syria and Qatar.
