The NT players join Jeddah camp on Saturday in preparation for Oman match

The national team players will join tomorrow, Saturday evening, their camp headquarters in Jeddah, in preparation for the seventh and eighth rounds of the final Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.

On January 27, The national team will host Oman national team at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, then will visit Japan national team on February 1 at Saitama Stadium in Tokyo.

Tomorrow, as soon as they join the camp, the players will be tested for the (Covid-19) virus, in order to ensure their safety.

Tomorrow, Saturday evening, The national team will hold a training session on the "reserve stadium in King Abdullah Sports City" at 7:00 pm, and it was decided that the training session will be closed to the media.

It is worth noting that the squad of coach Herve Renard included (26) players, their names are as follows: Muhammad Al-Owais, Fawaz Al-Qarni, Muhammad Al-Yami, Zaid Al-Bawardi, Yasser Al-Shahrani, Ahmed Sharahili, Ali Al-Bilahi, Abdul-Ilah Al-Omari, Ziyad Al-Sahafi, Sultan Al-Ghannam, Miteb Al-Harbi, Saud Abdul Hamid, Muhammad Al-Buraik, Abdul-Ilah Al-Maliki, Ali Al-Hassan, Muhammad Kanoo, Salem Al-Dosari, Abdul Rahman Gharib, Salman Al-Faraj, Sami Al-Naj’i, Abdul-Rahman Al-Aboud, Hattan Bahbri, Khaled Al-Ghannam, Firas Al-Braikan, Saleh Al-Shehri, Fahad Al-Muwallad.

On the other hand, Salman Al-Faraj and Zaid Al-Bawardi was excluded from the squad after the medical staff of the national team was informed of the report sent by the medical staff of their clubs regarding their injuries, Meanwhile, Coach summoned duo, "Abdullah Al-Khaibri, Amin Bukhari" to join the team.

It is worth noting that the national team is in Group B in the final Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, along with Japan, Australia, China, Oman and Vietnam, as it leads its group with 16 points from six matches.
