Renard: We are ready.. the road to World Cup is not over yet

The coach of the national team, "Herve Renard," spoke at the press conference held this evening to talk about preparations to face Oman in the seventh round of the final Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, and said: "We still have four matches before the end of the Asian qualifiers for the World Cup, so tomorrow we will have one of the important matches”.

Regarding the absence of Salman Al-Faraj, Renard said: “Salman Al-Faraj a great absence in the squad, but when we return to the team’s past matches in the qualifiers, we will notice our suffering with important absences, and these circumstances are part of football that You must have a squad that wants to put in a good performance".

Regarding the readiness before the end of the qualifiers, Renard said: "Of course we are ready for this stage since our first match in the Asian qualifiers, and we know very well that the road to the World Cup has not ended".

He added: "Tomorrow we will play against a good team and I respect it a lot, I watched Oman national team closely in the past matches and the Arab Cup, and I know well that if we want to win tomorrow, we must be in our best condition."

Herve Renard expressed his happiness to play again at Al-Jawhara Stadium and said: "I am very happy to be back in this stadium because I love it, the atmosphere was great in the previous two matches of the Asian qualifiers, and I hope to repeat that again, so we are all waiting for the support of the fans tomorrow".

For his part, the national team player Sami Al-Naji spoke about the match, saying: "It is an important and difficult match and it will not be easy for both teams, especially since we have a goal to reach, all the remaining matches will be important and difficult".
