
The NT U-23 beats Qatar 2-1 in a friendly match

The under-23 national team defeated its host Qatar, 2-1, in a friendly match this evening, Sunday, at Al Khor Club Stadium, within the preparatory camp in Qatar.
Qatar opened the scoring in the 13th minute of the first half, while Ayman Yahya scored the equalizer in the 31st minute, and in the 51st minute Saad Al-Obeid scored the second goal in the match.
Coach Saad Al-Shehri played the match with a list consisting of: Nawaf Al-Aqidi as a goalkeeper, Mansour Al-Shamri, Hassan Al-Timbukti, Mukher Al-Rashidi, Muhannad Al-Shanqiti, Ibrahim Mahanshi, Hamed Al-Ghamdi, Ayman Yahya, Ziyad Al-Juhani, Hussein Al-Issa, Muhammad Maran.
It is noteworthy that the the nationla team camp in Qatar, which runs until February 2, is being held in preparation for participation in the U-23 AFC Asian Cup 2022 in Uzbekistan.
