The coach of the national team, "Herve Renard", spoke at the press conference held this evening to talk about preparations to face Japan in the eighth round of the final Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, and said: "We are pleased to be in Japan and we thank them for the hospitality, Tomorrow we have an important match and we are aiming for the full mark".

Renard added: "It is important for us to maintain the results we achieved in the previous rounds, as we were able to win all the matches, except Australia match, which ended in a draw, so tomorrow we must continue and maintain the lead and achieve direct qualification".

Herve Renard confirmed his respect for the Japanese national team and said: "I have a lot of respect for the Japanese national team and we all know that it is ranked second in Asia in the FIFA World Ranking, and also participated in the 2018 World Cup in Russia and performed well in which it exceeded the group stage".

Regarding the absence of Salman Al-Faraj, he replied: "Salman Al-Faraj is a very important player, not at the local level, but at the level of the Asian continent, as he is one of the best players, but we have to deal with such circumstances".

Regarding the low scoring rate, Hervé Renard replied: “We came here to Japan to continue our good matches, we do not care about the low scoring rate in the past three matches, as we achieved the most important thing in getting points and being at the top of the group, and I can assure you that the players are ready and know what we want from them”.

Regarding the precautions inside the national team, Herve Renard replied: “We have no injuries at the level of the Covid-19 virus so far, there are a lot of precautions that the team takes, and this is a normal thing that everyone around the world faces, and fortunately we can play football".

On the possibility of qualification for the world cup tomorrow, Herve Renard replied, “It is a difficult match and we hope to crown the good matches with a victory tomorrow".
