The women's national team concludes Maldives camp

The women's national team concluded its preparatory camp in the Republic of Maldives, which was held for a week, during which it played two friendly matches against Seychelles and Maldives, as it scored as the first international matches, in preparation for its official entry into the FIFA world ranking.
The national team won both matches, with the same result (2-0), Al-Bandari Mubarak scored three goals, and one goal was scored by Maryam Al-Tamimi.
Commenting on this historic launch of the first national team, the member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation and Director of the Women's Football Department, Lamia bin Bahian, confirmed that this beginning is the culmination of the efforts that have been made, noting:
“First of all, I would like to congratulate all the players and all the technical, administrative and medical staff for their efforts over the past period and their cooperation to make the camp a success and make the most of this experience, I also congratulate them for entering history by playing the first two matches for the women’s national team and winning them, I am very proud of this team and the impressive level they showed against Seychelles and Maldives”.
Bin Bahian added: "The women's team got the desired benefit from the camp, both in terms of technical and fitness, and this will certainly reflect positively on the team's performance in future matches, now we are going beyond this stage and moving to work on our future programs for the team, and we aspire to enter international and regional competitions in a positive manner, and for the women’s team to follow the example of the men’s team, achieving achievements and representing the country perfectly”.
German coach Monika Stubb expressed her satisfaction with the camp, and the results achieved in it: “It is unbelievable! In seven weeks we managed to reach a good level that would not have been achieved, had it not been for the high spirit and discipline of the players during this period, I am very proud of this The team, and I thank them one by one for what they have done”.
Monica added: "Of course we have a lot of work to do to develop the level, but at this stage we are completely satisfied, and little by little, this team will develop until it reaches the level that qualifies it to compete for championships".
It is worth noting that the first national team started its preparatory program, with a preparatory camp in Jeddah in mid-January, before moving on the 27th of the same month to Riyadh, and finally leaving to Maldives on the 17th of February.
