Women's Football Department concludes the first training license course B

Yesterday, Thursday, at Princess Nourah Bint Abdul Rahman University in Riyadh, the first edition of the Asian license course (B) for female coaches, organized by the Women’s Football Department in cooperation with the Technical Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, was concluded with the participation of 17 coaches.
The course was held in two parts, the first part was held from 8-19 last December, while the second part was held from 27 February to 10 March 2022, as the conclusion of the course witnessed the presence of the Board Member and Director of the Women's Football Department, Lamia Bin Bahian.
The course witnessed holding several daily lectures for the participants, by the coach of the first national team, Monica Staab, and the Dutch coach, "Mary Cook Willemson", who is the last on the list of experts of the International Federation of Football Associations "FIFA", as the course witnessed theoretical and practical applications to achieve the greatest benefit, it's is currently the highest tournament in Saudi women's football.
Monica Stabb stressed that holding this course is a major step in the march of women's football, noting after the end of the course: "The technical plans that the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, represented by the Women's Football Department, are working on, aim to reach larger numbers of female coaches, and this is now achieved through the progression of female coaches with training courses, as we started with (D) courses, then (C) courses and currently we are at the conclusion of the first edition of (B) courses, and soon we seek to reach (A) category and (PRO).
Marie explained that what she witnessed during the course predicts a distinguished future for Saudi women’s football: “I was amazed at what I witnessed during my stay here, whether it was at the level of the coaches and their great motivation to learn and apply what they learned on the field, or at the level of fast development that Women’s football is witnessing, which facilitates opportunities to develop the positive aspects, or address the negative aspects if any, I am very proud of what I saw, and I wish these coaches in particular more excellence and prosperity”.
Board member and director of the Women’s Football Department, Lamia bin Bahian, said: “The presence of Saudi female coaches with advanced certificates in the world of training will help us a lot at the level of clubs and regional training centers, by transferring these experiences that were provided to them to the players to raise their technical levels and thus Finally returns ti the technical benefit for the national teams, and it is the final outcome of everything that is being worked on, whether from the SAFF or the clubs.
