The NT U-23 players attend Riyadh camp in preparation for leaving for Dubai camp

The players of the under-23 national team attended today, Sunday, at their gathering headquarters in Riyadh, in preparation for traveling for UAE tomorrow, Monday, to start the preparatory camp, which continues until March 30, as part of the preparation program for the U-23 AFC Asian Cup 2022 in Uzbekistan.

This evening, the under-23 national team players conducted a training session on the reserve stadium of King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, under the supervision of coach Saad Al-Shehri and the assistant technical staff, during which the players applied fitness and recovery exercises.

The delegation of the national team will leave tomorrow morning, Monday, for UAE to start the preparatory camp, which includes participation in the Dubai International Championship, along with UAE, Qatar, Iraq, Japan, Uzbekistan, China, Thailand, Vietnam and Croatia.

On the other hand, the technical staff of the under-23 national team summoned players, Nawaf Bushel, Raed Azeebi, and Ahmed Al-Ghamdi instead of Muhannad Al-Shanqiti, Nawaf Al-Aqidi, and Turki Al-Ammar, due to the injury.

It is noteworthy that the U-23 national team is at the top of the "fourth" group in the U-23 AFC Asian Cup 2022, along with UAE, Japan and Tajikistan.
