
The NT U-23 beats Iraq 2-1 in Dubai International Championship

The under-23 national team defeated Iraq 2-1, this evening, Saturday, at Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Stadium, as part of Dubai International Championship, on the sidelines of the preparatory camp in UAE, which is being held in preparation for the U-23 AFC Asian Cup. 2022 in Uzbekistan.
Iraq national team scored first in the 44th minute of the first half, while Haitham Asiri scored the equalizer in the 79th minute, and in the 83rd minute Saad Al-Obeid scored the second goal.
Coach Saad Al-Shehri played the match with a list consisting of: Abdul Rahman Al-Sanbi as a goalkeeper, Saad Al-Obeid, Walid Al-Ahmad, Mukher Al-Rashidi, Nawaf Bushel, Mishaal Al-Sabiani, Awad Al-Nashiri, Saud Zidan, Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, Abdul-Ilah Al-Shamri, Muhammad Maran.
It is noteworthy that the U-23 team national is at the top of the "fourth" group in the U-23 AFC Asian Cup 2022, along with UAE, Japan and Tajikistan.
