The NT futsal faces Palestine in the first match of the West Asian qualifiers

The national futsal team will start its matches in the West Asian qualifiers, qualifying for the AFC Asian Futsal Cup to be held in the Kuwait next September, today (Tuesday), by facing Palestine, at Sheikh Zayed Sports Complex hall in Fujairah.

Yesterday (Monday), the national futsal team finished its preparations for the match by conducting a training session at Ittihad Kalba club hall, led by coach (Spanish), Andrew Plaza, who, during the training session, applied the tactical sentences that he will be used in the match, before concluding with a maneuver throughout the hall, the players carried out what the coach asked them to do in the training session.

The training session witnessed the attendance and follow-up of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation board member, the general supervisor of futsal and beach football, Bandar Al-Ahmadi, and the director of the futsal and beach football department of the SAFF, Nasser Al-Saadi, who held a meeting with all members of the mission, asking everyone to double the effort, giving, discipline and focus in the matches to achieve the desired goal and qualify for the AFC Asian Cup.

The coach of the national team, Andrew Plaza, spoke about the team’s readiness for Palestine national team match, and said: "We have completed our preparations for the Palestine national team match, and we are fully prepared for this match, as the players have been prepared from the fitness, technical, physical and mental aspects.

Regarding the team’s chances of qualifying for the AFC Asian Cup, he said: “We fall into a group that includes strong teams, all of which have the same chances and competition to win the two qualification cards, We hope to win one of the cards and qualify.”

The captain of the national team, Moaz Al-Asiri, confirmed the team's readiness for this match, and said: "I and all my fellow players are determined to win the qualification ticket to the AFC Asian Cup, and God will honor us and achieve our goal and make the nation's audience happy.
