
Women's National Futsal Team Inaugurates Riyadh Camp

Today, Wednesday, the women’s national futsal team inaugurated its training camp in Riyadh for eight days, in the first phase of the preparatory program to participate in the Gulf Games in Kuwait next May, and the third West Asian Futsal Championship for women to be held in Jeddah next June.
The preparatory camp will include technical and physical training sessions with the aim of raising the fitness and technical level of the players, under the supervision of Croatian coach Mato Stenkovic, while the second phase of the program will be at a camp that will be held in Jeddah from 16 to 25 April.
The general supervisor of the women's national teams, Alia Al-Rasheed, confirmed that this camp comes within the drawn program by the technical staff, and indicated in a press statement: "Our goal now is for the national team to be fully prepared to participate in the Gulf Games in Kuwait, as well as the most important event for us is to participate in the West Asian Championship, which will be a main nucleus for our participation in the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers and the upcoming sports participations”.
