Al Misehal thanks the leadership for supporting the successful hosting of the AFC Champions League

The President of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser Al Misehal, in his name and on behalf of the members of the board, expressed his deepest thanks and gratitude to the wise leadership for its unlimited support for Saudi sports in general, and the football in particular, and the last result of which was the successful hosting of the West Region groups of the 2022 AFC Champions League.

Al Misehal stressed that the support of the wise leadership contributed to the success of the hosting AFC Champions League for the second year in a row, after the successful hosting of 3 groups in the last edition, in addition to the playoffs for the Western Region and the final match of the tournament.

The President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation thanked His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, for his great efforts, his continuous follow-up, and provision of all possibilities for the success of hosting.

Al Misehal commended the great role played by all government sectors and private entities in the four cities that hosted the matches, and which worked to provide comfort to the delegations participating in the tournament in an exemplary manner, which was praised by everyone.

Al Misehal thanked the employees of the Ministry of Sports and the Saudi Arabian Football Federation for the great efforts they have made since the announcement of the hosting, starting with receiving missions and permanent communication with them to facilitate their work and ensure the success of the tournament.

The president of the SAFF renewed his congratulations to the representatives of the country, Al Hilal, Al Shabab and Al Faisaly, after qualifying for the round of 16 of the AFC Champions League, wishing them to continue their journey until achieving a new Asian title added to the record of Saudi football achievements, wishing Al Taawoun Club success in the upcoming participations.
