The NT U-17 beats Norway on penalties in the international friendly tournament

The under-17 national team defeated Norway 5-4 on penalties, after a 2-2 draw, this evening, Saturday, at Dynamo Stadium, as part of the international friendly tournament in Romania, on the sidelines of the preparatory camp, which is held until the tenth of this month, as part of the preparation program for the qualifiers for the U-17 AFC Asian Cup 2023.

Talal Haji opened the goals of the under-17 national team in the 18th minute, then Ammar Al-Yahibi added the second goal in the 40th minute, and in the 64th minute, Norway managed to score the first goal, to be able to score the second goal in the 66th minute.

Coach Abdel Wahab Al-Harbi played the match with a list consisting of: Mahmoud Al-Bireh as a goalkeeper, Amjad Ali, Yassin Khaled, Abdel Salam Barnawi, Abdullah Al-Bishi, Ammar Al-Yahbi, Muhammad Hazazi, Farha Al-Shamrani, Talal Hajji, Faris Youssef, Nawaf Al-Bishri.

The match witnessed the attendance and follow-up of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Romania, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Ghani Khayat, and the member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, who supervises the youth teams, Dr. Khalid bin Muqrin.

It is noteworthy that the under-17 national team defeated Romania 2-1 in its first match, while it will conclude its participation in the tournament against Japan next Monday.
