UAE national team wins the West Asian Beach Soccer Federation Championship in Jazan

The West Asian Beach Soccer Federation Championship, which was hosted in Jazan from May 18-23, concluded on Monday evening.

Ibrahim Rayani, Director of the Ministry of Sports Branch in Jazan Region, crowned UAE national team with the championship after beating Oman 3-2 in the final match that took place this evening at Jazan Beach Stadium.

Bahrain national team achieved third place after defeating Palestine 5-2 in the match to determine the third and fourth places.

Our national team finished fifth after beating Lebanon 5-3 in the match to determine the fifth and sixth places, which was held at the beginning of the matches of the last day of the tournament.

UAE national team player Rashid Yaqoub won the tournament's top scorer award with 6 goals, and his colleague Walid Salem won the best goalkeeper award, while Omani Younis Al-Owaisi won the best player award in the tournament.
