Dammam hosts the U-20 Arab Cup draw

Tomorrow, Sunday, the draw of the U-20 Arab Cup in its eighth edition, hosted by Saudi Arabia, will be held with the participation of 18 teams.
The sports halls in Dammam will host the draw at 2 pm.
The teams participating in the tournament were divided into 3 levels, as follows:
Level 1: Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, and UAE.
Level 2: Iraq, Oman, Bahrain, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine.
Level 3: Mauritania, Libya, Sudan, Yemen, Djibouti, and Somalia.
It is noteworthy that the national team had won the title of the last edition of the tournament, which was held in Egypt last year, after defeating Algeria in the final.
The first edition of the tournament was held in Morocco in 1983, and Iraq national team won the title after its victory over the national team, while the national team won the title of the second edition in 1985 after defeating hosts Algeria in the final.
Iraq hosted the third edition in 1989 and Moroccan national team won the title after defeating Iraq in the final, as the same team also won the title of the fourth edition hosted by the same country (Morocco) in 2011 after defeating the national team in the final match.
The sixth edition was held in Jordan in 2012, as Tunisia national team won the title after defeating the national team in the final, while Saudi Arabia hosted the sixth edition in 2020, and Senegal won the title after defeating Tunisia in the final.
The national team has won the under-20 Arab Cup two times, to be the most crowned team alongside Morocco, as it is the most successful in reaching the final on 5 occasions in the past seven editions.
