Al-Qadi crowns Morocco national team with the Arab Futsal Cup in Dammam

Today, Tuesday, Deputy Sports Minister Badr Al-Qadi crowned Morocco national team with Arab Futsal Cup 2022 in its sixth edition, which was hosted by the Kingdom from 20-28 June.
The coronation ceremony was attended by the President of the Organizing Committee of the Championship, President of the Egyptian Football Association Gamal Allam, Secretary General of the Union of Arab Football Associations, Dr. Raja Allah Al-Salami, and Secretary General of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation Ibrahim Al Kassim.
Morocco national team won the title for the second time in a row, after defeating Iraq 3-0 in the final match that was held today in the green halls in Dammam.
His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Sports handed out individual awards to the players, as the Moroccan national team player Sufian Al-Misrar won the best player award, while Iraqi goalkeeper Zaher Hadi won the best goalkeeper award, while Kuwaiti player Abdul Rahman Al-Taweel received the top scorer award, while the Egyptian team received the clean play award.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Ibrahim Al Kassim, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership for the generous support of the sports sector in general and football in particular, which made the Kingdom the ideal destination to host many major sporting events on the Arab, regional and continental levels.
Al Kassim also thanked His Highness, the Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, for his efforts in harnessing all possibilities for the Kingdom to host this great Arab sports event.
The Secretary-General expressed his gratitude to His Excellency the President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser Al Misehal, for his continuous follow-up, and thanked the SAFF’s work team, who made every effort to make the tournament a success and show it in the honorable image of the Kingdom, which was praised by the delegations of the participating teams, which received all the interest from SAFF's members to overcome any obstacles.
Dammam hosted the tournament with the participation of 10 teams: Morocco, Egypt, Kuwait, Algeria, Iraq, Palestine, Mauritania, Libya, Somalia, in addition to Saudi Arabia, the host, as the teams were divided into 3 groups by draw.
