SAFF deposits 135 million riyals to the clubs in total support and competition rewards

The total of what was deposited in the accounts of sports clubs from the Saudi Arabian Football Federation amounted to 135 million and 532 thousand and 821 riyals, representing the total support and rewards for the 2021-2022 sports season competitions in a historical and record number in the history of Saudi football.

For the first time, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation presented an amount of 35 million and 250 thousand riyals as prizes for the teams’ positions in the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Professional Cup League, while it also presented for the first time an amount of 13 million and 750 thousand riyals as the value of prizes for the teams’ positions in the Yelo League for first division clubs.

The value of the rewards for teams’ positions in the second, third and fourth leagues and championships for the youth groups was raised to 26 million and 964 thousand riyals, after their total did not exceed two million riyals.

It is noteworthy that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup has the highest government support for the champion, as Al-Fayhaa received an amount of 10 million riyals after being crowned with the precious cup.

The deposit of support amounts related to the appointment of external lawyers for clubs, the initiative to support the national coaches, support for participation in the Premier League and the First Futsal League, in addition to participation in the women's league and support for participation in the third and fourth divisions has also been completed.

For his part, the President of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser Al Misehal, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership for the generous support that Saudi football enjoys, following the follow-up of His Highness, the Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal.

Al Misehal stressed that raising the value of these rewards is part of the SAFF's strategy to motivate the clubs to make every effort to achieve the best results during the season.
