Today, Saturday, the national futsal team inaugurated their training camp in Al-Qassim region, which will continue until September 8, and represents the second phase of the preparatory program for the AFC Futsal Asian Cup to be held in Kuwait from September 27 to October 8.
Today, Saturday, the national futsal team performed their first training at the camp at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Sports City hall in Buraidah, led by the Spanish coach Andrew Plaza, who was keen to meet all the players and provide many advice, noting the importance of the stage and the countdown to the start of the AFC Asian Cup, after which the exercises started with fitness exercises, which were performed with the physical trainer Daniel Bardejo, after that the players were divided into several groups and carried out many technical sentences using the ball, before concluding with a training maneuver throughout the hall.
The goalkeepers underwent special training accompanied by the Spanish goalkeeper coach Francisco Manuel.
On Sunday, the national futsal team will conduct their training in their current camp in two periods.
It is noteworthy that the draw of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup, which was held last May, put the national team in Group D along with Japan, South Korea and Vietnam.
