The delegation of the national team will leave tomorrow, Saturday at noon, for Alicante, Spain, via King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, to start the second phase of the preparatory program for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which begins next November.
The national team will hold a preparatory camp in Alicante, Spain, from 17 to 27 September. During the second stage, It will play two friendly matches, the first against Ecuador on September 23, and the second friendly match against the United States on the 27 of the same month, and both matches will be played at the Nueva Condomina stadium in Murcia.
It is worth noting that coach Herve Renard summoned (26) players to join the camp, their names are as follows: Muhammad Al-Owais, Fawaz Al-Qarni, Muhammad Al-Yami, Nawaf Al-Aqeedi, Yasser Al-Shahrani, Ali Al-Blaihi, Abdul-Ilah Al-Omari, Abdullah Mado, Hassan Al-Timbukti, Sultan Al-Ghannam, Saud Abdul-Hamid, Ahmed Bamasoud, Ali Al-Hassan, Sami Al-Najai, Awad Al-Nashiri, Muhammad Kenno, Riyad Sharahili, Salman Al-Faraj, Nasser Al-Dossary, Salem Al-Dosari, Hattan Bahbri, Nawaf Al-Abed, Haitham Asiri, Fahd Al-Muwallid, Firas Al-Braikan, Harun Kamara.
It is worth noting that the national team is in Group C in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, along with Argentina, Mexico and Poland.
On the other hand, the national team management announced the details of the friendly matches that it will play in the remaining three stages of the preparatory program in preparation for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, a the national team will play 8 friendly matches against Ecuador, USA, Macedonia, Albania, Honduras, Iceland, Panama and Croatia.
It is worth noting that the national team played two friendly matches in the first phase of the preparatory program against Colombia and Venezuela.
