The national team leaves for Abu Dhabi to start the third phase of preparations for World Cup 2022

The delegation of the national team will leave tomorrow, Monday, for Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, via King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh, to start the third phase of the preparatory program for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which begins next November.

The national team will hold a preparatory camp in Abu Dhabi from the 17th of this month to the 10th of next November, and will play during the third phase five friendly matches, the first against Macedonia on the twenty-second of October in Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi, and the second friendly match will be against Albania on the twenty-sixth of October, then the national team will face Honduras in its third friendly match on the thirtieth of October, both the second and third matches will be played at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

The national team will play its fourth friendly match against Iceland on the sixth of next November at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, and will conclude its friendlies for the third stage against Panama national team, on the tenth of next November at Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi.

On the other hand, it was decided that the national team will play its matches against Macedonia, Albania and Honduras, closed to the public and the media.

It is worth noting that the coach Herve Renard summoned (32) players to join the camp, their names are as follows: Muhammad Al-Owais, Fawaz Al-Qarni, Muhammad Al-Yami, Nawaf Al-Aqidi, Yasser Al-Shahrani, Ali Al-Bulaihi, Abdulelah Al-Amri, Abdullah Mado, Hassan Al-Timbukti, Sultan Al-Ghannam, Ahmed Bamasoud, Saud Abdul Hamid, Muhammad Al-Buraik, Riyad Sharahili, Ali Al-Hassan, Muhammad Kenno, Abdulelah Al-Maliki, Salman Al-Faraj, Nasser Al-Dosari, Abdullah Atif, Sami Al-Najai, Salem Al-Dosari, Abdul Rahman Al-Abboud, Fahd Al-Muwallad, Nawaf Al-Abed, Hattan Bahbri, Ayman Yahya, Haitham Asiri Abdullah Radeef, Abdullah Al-Hamdan, Saleh Al-Shehri, Firas Al-Buraikan.

It is worth noting that the national team is in Group C in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, along with Argentina, Mexico and Poland.
