The national team continues to prepare for Macedonia friendly match at Abu Dhabi camp

This evening, Thursday, the national team continued its training in its camp, which is currently being held in "Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates", as part of the third phase of the preparatory program for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which begins next November.

The national team is preparing to play its first friendly match of the third stage against Macedonia, on Saturday, at Zayed Sports City Stadium.

On the field, the national team players conducted their training session at the Emirates Palace Stadium under the supervision of coach Herve Renard, as the training session began with warm-up exercises and then a set-ball exercise before being divided into two groups on the entire pitch, to conclude the training session with stretching exercises.


On the other hand, the captain of the national team "Salman Al-Faraj" participated in the training session after he returned to the camp this morning, while goalkeeper "Fawaz Al-Qarni" did not participate in the training session because he felt pain in the knee, as he underwent an MRI, while Sami Al-Naji continued his rehabilitation program accompanied by the medical staff.

On the other hand, the coach of the national team "Herve Renard", summoned Al-Nassr club goalkeeper, "Amin Bukhari", to join the national team camp, which is currently being held in Abu Dhabi.

Tomorrow, Friday, the national team will continue its preparations with a training session at 4:00 pm in KSA time at the Emirates Palace Stadium.
