Saudi Olympics team announces AFC Championship squad .. weather conditions cancel South Korea match

The Saudi Arabia u-23 national team, announced official squad, for 2020 AFC U-23 Championship, Thailand, which will be held from the 8th until the 26the of January, and will determine the qualified teams to Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
For his part, coach Saad Al-Shehri announced 23-players squad for the championship whose names are: Amine Boukari, Mohamed Al-Yami, Saleh Alohamid, Saud Abdelhamid, Abdalla Hasson, Abdelhamid Elah Al-Emri, Hassan Al-Tembkty, Abdelbasit Hendy, Khalid Al-Debesh, Ali Al-Hassan, Yossif Al-Harbi, Nasser Al-Omran, Sami Al-Nagie, Moktar ALI, Sami El-Essa, Ayman Yehia, Saad Al-Saloli, Khalid Al-Ganam, Ayman Al-Khelif, Abdelrahman Gharib, Abdelrahman Al-Yami, Abdalla Al-Hamdan and Firas Al-Barikan.
It must be mentioned that, the draw of the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship, put KSA in Group B, alongside: Japan, Syria and Qatar, as the first game will be against Japan at January 9th, followed by Qatar on January 12th, then Syria on January 15th, at the end of group stage.
On the other hand, Saudi team friendly game with South Korea was cancelled by mutual consent between the technical and administrative staff of both teams due to weather conditions and the ineglibilty of the pitch
In the same context, the Saudi team will fly to Thailand at Wednesday morning to start the fourth and last phase of preparations for the Asian cup, which will include a friendly match against Thailand ahead of the championship.
