The NT arrives in Basra and begins its training in preparation for the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup

The national team delegation arrived in Iraq this evening, Wednesday, to participate in the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup, which is scheduled to start on Friday.
The delegation of the national team was received by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Iraq, Abdulaziz Al-Shamari, the President of Iraq Football Association, Adnan Dirjal, the Advisor to the Prime Minister for Youth and Sports Affairs, Iyad Bunyan, and the Secretary-General of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation, Jassem Al-Rumaihi.
The national team opened its training in Iraq this evening on the reserve stadium of the Basra International Stadium, under the supervision of coach Saad Al-Shehri and the assistant technical staff, during which they implemented a tactical exercise, followed by a mini-maneuver.
It is noteworthy that the national team will open its participation in the Arabian Gulf Cup against Yemen on Friday, January 6, and on Monday, January 9, it will play against Iraq, and on Thursday, January 12, it will face Oman.
