The NT concludes its preparations to face Iraq in the second match of the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup

Tomorrow, Monday, the national team will host Iraq national team at 7:15 p.m, in the second round of Group A in the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup, at Basra International Stadium.

The national team concluded this Sunday evening its preparations for the match with a training session at Al-Fayha Stadium in Basra, under the supervision of coach Saad Al-Shehri and the assistant technical staff, during which the players conducted recreational training, followed by work on set pieces.

For his part, Assistant Coach Ahmed Al-Ruwaie explained during the press conference held this evening on the sidelines of the second round of the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup that they are seeking with their brothers the Iraqi national team to present a technically enjoyable match worthy of Gulf football, indicating that the audience factor, which is expected to be plentiful It is something that the Saudi player is accustomed to during his matches in local competitions, indicating that the expected presence of the fans will add more beauty to the match.

Al-Ruwaie added: “Praise be to God for his success in our first match. We started working directly for tomorrow’s match, which undoubtedly will not be easy, given that the Iraqi national team is technically distinguished, and has ground and audience workers, but in modern football technical readings and analyzes are involved, so we will be fully prepared, God willing".

Ahmed Al-Ruwaie indicated that they prepared technically by reading and analyzing the levels of all the participating teams, in order to achieve the desired technical goal of reaching the final of the tournament and achieving the title, explaining that the general technical level of all teams is high and this matter will be reflected positively on the technical value of the matches.

Regarding correcting technical errors in the last match, Al-Ruwaie said: “Certainly, work is always done to correct errors and avoid falling into them, which is something that occurs in football. We have it step by step".

While the national team player, Saad Al-Nasser, explained during the press conference that tomorrow's match will be enjoyable at all levels, praising the public hospitality and good reception and welcome from the Iraqi fans, whom he and his fellow players touch every day.
