Jazan prepares the national beach soccer team for AFC Asian Cup

The national beach soccer team will hold an indoor training camp in Jazan region, from January 29 to February 11, in the first stage of preparations for participation in AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup, which will be held in Pattaya, Thailand, from February 27 to March 9.

The coaching staff of the national beach soccer team, led by coach Joga Zlokovic, announced the list of 22 players who were selected for the camp, and they are: Walid Safi, Muhannad Al-Khawaji, Mubarak Al-Dosari, Muhammad Khatam, Walid Al-Youbi, Salman Al-Rashidi, Majid Al-Shamhani, Khaled Wahib, Nayef Yakal, Omar Qarameesh and Ramzi. Dakman, Bilal Bouda, Rakan Al-Breikani, Ibrahim Al-Otaibi, Maan Haitham, Muhammad Al-Juhani, Abdulaziz Al-Shanqeeti, Ahmed Al-Mohamy, Zayed Al-Hajri, Mishaal Al-Shammari, Saud Al-Abd Al-Aziz and Hashim Bernawi.

It is noteworthy that on Thursday, January 19, the draw ceremony was held, and put the national team in Group A alongside Thailand (host), Bahrain and Afghanistan.

It is worth noting that the national beach soccer team ranks 31st in the International Federation of Beach Soccer rankings for the month of December.
