The NT U-20 beats Qatar in a friendly match in preparation for AFC Asian Cup

The under-20 national team defeated Qatar national team 2-1, this evening, Thursday, at Jebel Ali Stadium, at UAE preparatory camp in preparation for the U-20 AFC Asian Cup 2023 in Uzbekistan.

The player Yassin Al-Zubaidi opened the goals for the national team in the 3rd minute of the first half, before Qatar equalized in the 27th minute, and Yassin Al-Zubaidi managed to score the second goal in the 50th minute of the match.

On Sunday, the under-20 national team will conclude its camp in UAE by facing UAE national team in a friendly match, before leaving for the Uzbek capital, Tashkent, to compete in the AFC Asian Cup.

It is noteworthy that the under-20 national team is in the fourth Group of the U-20 AFC Asian Cup 2023, alongside Japan, China and Kyrgyzstan.
