Tomorrow (Wednesday), the first national futsal team will face Iran, in the opening match of the NSDF International Championship in Pattaya, Thailand.
The national futsal team arrived today in Pattaya, and conducted its training at Pattaya Arena Hall, which will host the championship matches, under the leadership of the Spanish coach Andrew Plaza, who followed the plan in which he will play at the match.
from his side; The Organizing Committee of the NSDF International Championship held a coordination meeting with all representatives of the participating teams, and the rules, regulations and mechanism of the tournament were explained, in addition to determining the colors of the national teams’ kits during the matches, as the national team was represented during the meeting by the national team manager, Abdul Rahman Al-Rammah.
On the other hand; The coach of the national futsal team, Andrew Plaza, held a press conference during which he spoke about the team's readiness for the international friendly tournament, saying: "First of all, we thank the organizers for the invitation to participate in the tournament, which is one of the strongest tournaments in the region because of the presence of ancient teams, and we certainly came to Thailand to participate in the tournament, in order to achieve many goals, the most important of which is gaining experience and facing strong teams”.
Regarding the team's readiness, he said: "We are ready to participate in the tournament, and regarding the Iranian national team match, Iran is certainly strong and is one of the strongest international teams, not only in Asia, but we are ready to face it".
It is noteworthy that the national futsal team received an official invitation from the Football Association of Thailand to participate in the NSDF International Championship alongside Japan, Iran, Egypt, Mozambique and Thailand, the host country.
