KSA Olympics team faces Thailand in quarter final

The Saudi Arabia u-23 national team, will play their quarter final match, at the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship, Thailand, which will determine the qualified teams to Tokyo 2020 Olympics, on Saturday, against, the hosts, Thailand, at 5:15 P.M, (Thailand time), 1:15 (KSA time), at Thammasat Stadium, Bangkok.
On the ground, the Saudi team concluded their preparations for the game, at Thammasat reserve Stadium, under the supervision of manager, Saad Al-Shehri, as the session concentrated on applying some tactical exercises.
On the other hand, the Asian Football Confederation, AFC, represented in the organizing committee of the AFC U-23 Championship, held a coordinating meeting for Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Syria and Australia Olympics teams which discussed a number of logistical, organizational, marketing, media and medical topics, in addition to approving the Green Kit for the Saudi team in the quarter final game.
For his part, manager Saad Al-Shehri, pointed out during the press conference which was held on Friday evening, that the attendance of Thai fans to support Thailand against the Green Falcons will be reflected positively on the Saudi team, confirming that the Saudi players will enjoy the fans who will attend the game in the stadium, and those who will watch it on Television, with performance and result.
"I will be a strong game technically and tactically, as its circumstances are different from group stage games, we respect Thailand, for their impressive performances during the group stage", he added.
The Saudi team manager concluded his speech by emphasizing that the expected intensity of the mass support for the Thai team will not be a burden on the national team players, citing the fact that they are used to playing in front of 40,000 spectators and more in local competitions.
