The Brazilian coach of the first national beach soccer team, Joga Zlokovic, announced the final list of players who were selected to travel to Jeddah to participate in the Arab Beach Soccer Championship, which will be held from 11 to 20 May.

The list included 15 players, and they are: Walid Safhi, Muhammad Al-Ajmi, Mishaal Al-Shammari, Islam Siraj, Ahmed Al-Hamami, Faisal Al-Yami, Majid Al-Shamhani, Khaled Wahib, Yahya Tamihi, Muhammad Al-Shammari, Bilal Bouda, Ramzi Dakman, Nayef Yakol, Omar Qarmish and Walid Al-Youbi.

The national beach soccer team held a 12-day training camp in Yanbu, in which it played two friendly matches with Egypt national team on the dirt court of the Royal Commission in Yanbu.

It is noteworthy that the draw ceremony of the Arab Beach Soccer championship, which will be held in Jeddah from 11 to May 20, put the national team in Group A alongside Mauritania, Morocco and Lebanon.

On the other hand; The International Beach Soccer Federation issued the national team rankings for the month of April, in which the national team’s ranking rose to 25th in the world and fifth in Asia and the Arab world, by 550 points, up 4 places from the previous classification, as a historic achievement for the first time since the establishment of the national team.
