
KSA Olympics team starts preparations for final.. Embassy celebrates qualification

The Saudi Arabia u-23 team, returned to training on Friday, after facing Uzbekistan, last Wednesday, in the semi-final of the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship, Thailand, and reaching the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
The Saudi Olympics team trained under the supervision of coach, Saad Al-Shehri, who divided the players into two groups, the first included the players who took part in the last game and performed recovery exercises, whole the second one performed a tactical training followed by a small maneuver.
The Saudi players will continue training on Saturday, within preparations for the final against South Korea.
On the other hand, the Saudi Embassy in Thailand celebrated the Olympics team mission after qualifying to the Olympic games in Tokyo.
For his part, His Excellency, Mr. Khalid Bin Nasser Al-Faris, Chargé d'affaires a.i., held a ceremony at the Saudi team's residence, in the presence of the president of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, SAFF, Yasser Al Misehal, in addition the board members, Dr. Khalid Bin Mekren and Bandr Al-Ahmadi, the administrative and technical staff, the players and the Saudi press representatives in Bangkok and the personnel of the embassy.
Al Misehal expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Mr. Khaled Al-Faris for the generous hospitality and continuous follow-up, praising the great role of the Saudi Embassy in helping the national team mission.
