Mancini announces the national team's list for Costa Rica and South Korea friendly matches

The national team coaching staff announced the coach Roberto Mancini's list that will participate in the preparatory camp that will begin tomorrow, Sunday, in Newcastle, England, during the FIFA International Days (September 2023), as part of the second phase of the preparatory program for AFC Asian Cup 2023 that will be held in Qatar in January. as the mission will leave tomorrow afternoon, Sunday, for Newcastle, England, via King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

Mancini's list included (26) players to join the camp, which will start next Sunday evening, and their names are as follows: Muhammad Al-Owais, Nawaf Al-Aqidi, Muhammad Al-Yami, Raghed Al-Najjar, Yasser Al-Shahrani, Abdulelah Al-Amri, Hassan Timbukti, Ahmed Sharahili, Ali Al-Bulaihi, Sultan Al-Ghannam. , Ahmed Bamasoud, Saud Abdulhamid, Riyad Sharahili, Abdullah Al-Khaibari, Ali Hazazi, Muhammad Kenno, Salem Al-Dawsari, Nasser Al-Dawsari, Sami Al-Naji, Samihan Al-Nabit, Abdulaziz Al-Bishi, Abdul-Rahman Gharib, Fahd Al-Rashidi, Fahd Al-Muwallid, Abdullah Al-Hamdan, Feras Albrikan.

During the camp from 3 to 12 September, the national team will play two friendly matches, the first against the Costa Rica national team on September 8, and the second friendly match against South Korea national team on September 12. Both friendly matches will be played at St. James’ Park, the stadium of the English club Newcastle United.

It is worth noting that the national team is in the sixth group of AFC Asian Cup 2023, alongside Oman, Kyrgyzstan, and Thailand.
