
SAFF signs a memorandum of understanding with Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran

On Monday, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation signed a memorandum of understanding with its Iranian counterpart, in the presence of the presidents of the two federations, Yasser Al Misehal and Mehdi Taj, at the SAFF's headquarters in Riyadh.
The memorandum of understanding between the Saudi and Iranian federations aims to enhance cooperation between them in a way that serves football in the two countries at the level of Asian football.
The memorandum of understanding includes exchanging experiences between the two federations by providing training courses for referees, and supporting and developing the youth groups, women’s football, futsal, and beach soccer.
The President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser Al Misehal, confirmed that the memorandum of understanding with Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran will work to strengthen relations between the two federations in a way that serves Asian football.
On the other hand, the President of Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran, Mehdi Taj, expressed his aspiration to work with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation and move forward towards greater cooperation between the two sides, which will reflect positively during the coming period.
