Regional Training Centers will be launched for the fifth year in a row

The regional training centers will begin tomorrow, Sunday, for the fifth year in a row, with the participation of more than( 1,200 ) players through (13) centers, under the supervision of (105) technical staffs, and (55) administrative and medical staffs.

The regional training centers are one of the most important initiatives of the Development and Initiatives Department of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, and aim to discover and develop talents, as part of the SAFF's strategy to develop more than 4,000 players by 2025.

This year, the regional training centers include 13 centers in Riyadh (two centres), Mecca, Al-Ahsa, Taif, Jazan, Hail, Al-Qassim, Najran, Jeddah, Tabuk, Dammam and Medina, as the second phase of the centers will include a number of additional cities and governorates, after undergoing the evaluation stage through conducting exploratory talent gatherings.

The regional training centers will begin in two periods, the first starting on Sunday, September 10, for those who were born from 2008 to 2011, and the second period will be held on November 1 for those who were born from 2012 to 2014, noting that the current season continues until July 2024.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi Arabian Football Federation was keen during the recent period to hold festivals to discover talents in many regions of the Kingdom, as part of its efforts to increase the number of regional training centers.
