USM Alger was crowned as the champion of CAF Super Cup 2023 in Taif

Today, Friday, the President of the Confederation of African Football, Patrice Motsepe, and the President of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser Al Misehal, crowned the Algerian team USM Alger with CAF Super Cup 2023.
USM Alger won CAF Super Cup title for the first time in its history after defeating Al-Ahly of Egypt 1-0, on Friday evening, at King Fahd Sports City Stadium in Taif.
The President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation congratulated USM Alger after winning CAF Super Cup, wishing the Egyptian team, Al-Ahly, success in the upcoming competitions, praising the distinguished level of the match, and the wonderful image presented by the fans of the two clubs.
Al Misehal appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of Sports, which harnessed all capabilities to organize this major event, which is added to the Kingdom’s series of successes in hosting major sporting events, and thanked the work team of SAFF and the government and private agencies for the organization.
