The first national futsal team has increased its preparations at its current camp in the Eastern Province, which represents the final stage of the preparatory program to participate in the Asian qualifiers that will be held at the Ministry of Sports hall in Dammam from October 7th to 11th, which qualify to AFC Asian Futsal Cup to be held in Thailand in 2024.

Today, Thursday, the national futsal team players conducted their training at Prince Nayef Sports City Hall in Qatif, led by Spanish coach Andrew Plaza, who divided the training into two periods. in which he intensified the fitness and physical exercises, in addition to performing a number of tactical and technical exercises, before a mini match on the entire hall.

On the other hand, the medical examinations conducted by the medical staff for the player Farhan Al-Asmari showed that he is safe and that he will join his teammates after the rest granted to him by the technical staff based on the recommendation of the medical staff led by Doctor Mushabab Al-Qahtani and the therapist Al-Hassan bin Khaled.

It is noteworthy that the draw for the Asian qualifiers for AFC Asian Futsal Cup placed the national team in Group B alongside Indonesia, Afghanistan and Macau.
