The national futsal team raises its readiness to face Afghanistan in the Asian qualifiers

The first national futsal team continued its daily training in the Eastern Province in preparation for Afghanistan national team match next Saturday, in the opening of their matches in the Asian qualifiers that will be held at the Ministry of Sports hall in Dammam from October 7th to 11th, which qualify for AFC Asian Futsal Cup to be held in Thailand in 2024.
Today, Wednesday, the national futsal team players conducted their training under the leadership of Spanish coach Andrew Plaza, who divided the training into two parts, as the first part was performed at Prince Nayef City Sports Hall in Qatif, while the second part of the training was performed at the Ministry of Sports Hall in Dammam, which will host the championship matches, during which the players underwent intense fitness and physical exercises, in addition to executing and applying a number of technical combinations using the ball, which focused on building attacks from the back.
At the conclusion of the training session, a maneuver was conducted across the entire hall area, which witnessed the participation of player Omar Al-Dabal, who tests confirmed was safe from the injury he suffered yesterday in training.
Goalkeeper Asaad Al-Saad began his rehabilitation program in preparation for his return to group training after completing the program prepared for him.
It is noteworthy that Group B competitions of the Asian qualifiers will be hosted by Dammam from October 7th to 11th, with the participation of Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Afghanistan and Macau.
